Koorong
Koorong is known as ‘The Christian Resource Specialists.’
In June 1978, Koorong opened the doors to its first specialist Christian bookstore in the north-west Sydney suburb of West Ryde. The retail stores were born out of a need for Australians to have better access to vital Christian resources that supported their faith.
For over 40 years they have provided resources that have helped inspire, challenge and ultimately feed the hope that they confess as believers. It’s a place where people can find rest, where one can drink and be refreshed of heart. This can happen when reading a Bible, receiving encouragement from a stranger, finding a timely book, listening to inspirational music or watching a story that celebrates gospel truth.
They believe the gospel provides hope to a darkened and desperate world. They exist to support the Church, in all Her diversity, to share the hope they have in Jesus Christ. They do this by effectively supplying and promoting an extensive range of Christian products that will be of spiritual benefit to the body of Christ.
