Cecily Paterson is a writer, editor and speaker based in Sydney, NSW. With a best-selling memoir, an award-nominated biography, and nine novels for young teen girls under her belt, she has recently turned her attention to writing for junior readers as one half of the author partnership behind the Pet Sitters series, under the pen name 'Ella Shine'.

Cecily is available for editing jobs and freelance writing projects. She enjoys mentoring beginning writers and young writers, and also teaches memoir writing through her online Write Your Memoir course. For those who prefer art to words, she publishes the Bible colouring art of Lorien Atwood.
